Hello, I am a very motivated, ambitious and hardworking individual. I am currently in US doing masters in Chemistry. After gaining seven years of thorough work experience in pharmaceutical (analytical) R &D, now I am doing second masters in Chemistry at Western Kentucky University (WKU), Bowling Green, KY. I worked as a teaching assistant at WKU for one year and now I am a research assistant (funded by US Department of Agriculture) at Department of chemistry, WKU. We are a very close-knit family. My parents live in Ahmedabad, my dad is on a verge of his retirement age and my older brother lives in Gurgaon near New Delhi. He works in Mankind pharmaceutical research center as an assistant general manager.
I am also aspiring to be research scientist here in US in the pharma industry. Besides the academics, my hobbies are cooking, traveling and visiting tourist attractions, hanging out with friends. I make very good friends wherever I go. That's the reason I miss my friends back in India and they miss me a lot. I have a passion for cooking. and can cook pretty much anything and everything.
I love to give back whenever I can so volunteering and being involved in community services is important to me. Some of my interests include travelling, volleyball, swimming and other adventure sports like paragliding, river rafting, hiking and mountaineering.
I am hoping to find with similar interest, understanding and well cultured life partner who can complement me. Someone whom I can work together with and walk hand in hand though out my life. My partner would be someone that is progressive and supportive. She would be a partner in crime whether it is making a big investment or picking out an ice-cream flavor. Okay may not be ice-cream flavors but you get the point
I have had my share of bad experiences that have taught me a lot in life. I have learnt to deal with downturns and now looking for someone whom I can spent a happy, peaceful and harmonious life ahead.

My name is Harshil Rajesh Shah. I am currently working with Amazon (in AWS) as a Software engineer. I was a graduate Masters student with Major in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. I grew up in Mumbai and have worked there for a couple of years with the Tata Consultancy Service before enrolling for masters.
I am looking for a confident, family loving, well-educated girl with a good understanding of our religion and traditions. Ethics is another quality that I have set high standards for myself. I have a family who loves, cares and nurtures each other for learnings, growth, and progress towards a better future.
The transition from India to the US was a challenging process and it taught me a lot about preserving our original values. Staying far away from family, all alone in a foreign land teaches you lots of survival skills. Along with that, I have become more aware of our cultural and religion beliefs and have developed more maturity towards adopting them in the daily life. No matter where I go next, this experience is unforgettable and highly valuable.
Deep down I have a very strong desire to move back to India, as that is where I feel I belong and I can see myself being there with my family, friends, and relatives in near future.
